Who Is Mahmut Görgen?
Working primarily across Afro House, Deep House, and Commercial House, Görgen is known for his powerful rhythmic structures, extensive repertoire, and high-energy live performances. By combining his experience as a DJ with music arrangement and production, he plays an active role in both his own projects and his collaborations with other artists.
Görgen released his first professional single, **“Kalbimin Sahibine,”** in 2017, featuring vocals by İbrahim Karabulut. In the following years, he expanded his music catalogue with works in a variety of styles, including *“Touch the Sky,” “Sky Ride,” “LOCO,” “Nutuk,” “Everything,” “Ne Salaksın,” “Beautiful,”* and *“Hep Acıya Yakın Yüreğim.”*
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with Cansever, Ekin Akkaş, Ceylan Koynat, Fatih Doğukan Yılmaz, Hakan Ergün, Marian, Samara Useinova, Dilek Günay, ELINAKEY, Ava Lenora, Aydoğan Tayfur, and numerous vocalists from different countries. Among his notable collaborations are *“Özür Diliyorum (Deep House),” “Deli Yüreğim (Yasak),”* and *“Zabrana Isitu”* with Cansever; *“Yar Yar”* with Ekin Akkaş; and *“Gesi Bağları”* and *“Yüce Dağ Başında”* with Fatih Doğukan Yılmaz.
Released in 2024, *“Love”* surpassed one million streams within a short period, becoming one of Mahmut Görgen’s most widely heard releases. The song was featured on Apple Music’s **New Music Daily** and **New in Dance** playlists, while a segment from its music video was displayed on the screens of Times Square in New York. Other releases from the same period, including *“Olsun,” “Yüce Dağ Başında,”* and *“Shining By Your Side,”* further demonstrated Görgen’s versatility in electronic music production.
On March 18, 2025, Mahmut Görgen released his debut studio album, *“Universal Vibes,”* under the WM Music label. Across its eight tracks, the album brought together different cultures through vocals in Turkish, English, Azerbaijani, Russian, and German, all within an electronic music framework. The album’s lead track, *“Eledim Eledim,”* was performed by Fatih Doğukan Yılmaz. Featuring artists such as Marian, Dilek Günay, Samara Useinova, Zeynəb Hüsniyeva, Diana Surovnikova, and Sarina Feldhoff, the project became one of Görgen’s most significant works to reflect his international approach to music production.
In 2026, he released *“Yandım Ben”* with Aydoğan Tayfur; *“Lemide”* and *“Fidayda”* with Ava Lenora; *“Nefes Çektim (Вдох),”* which combines Turkish and Russian lyrics, with ELINAKEY; and *“Feel So High”* with Marian. Through these predominantly Afro House projects, he continued to expand his audience both in Türkiye and across international digital platforms.
